Mackenzie Filson is a food & beverage writer based in Los Angeles. Her writing has been featured in PUNCH, Eater, The Kitchn, EatingWell, TASTE, and Dirty Spoon, and she currently works as a contributing digital food producer for Delish. She also pairs books with wine (her one party trick) in her newsletter, Grocery Store Wine.

A graduate of Emerson College’s writing & publishing program and Columbia University’s publishing course, Mackenzie previously worked in publicity at Penguin Random House for (almost exclusively) mass-market sci-fi bodice-rippers under their Berkley imprint.

In her past lives, she waited tables at a guest ranch in middle-of-nowhere Montana, was the resident “Cheese Girl” for Trader Joe’s, and slung books for Scuppernong Books, Skylight Books, and The Harvard Coop.
